The Barbecue Festival at
Lexington, North Carolina, is back again and all barbecue lovers are invited! Lexington,
North Carolina, is the barbecue capital of the world and if you are a barbecue
lover residing in or around Lexington, you can’t miss the chance to taste some
of the finest barbecues in the world. As an added bonus, this October has been
officially declared by the City of Lexington and Davidson Country as “Barbecue”

leading to the grand finale, the Barbecue Festival.
The Barbecue Festival is one of
the biggest food festivals of its kind in the area. Today, the festival has
become an annual tradition that is held on the last two Saturdays in October. The 29th Annual Barbecue
Festival for this year is set on October 27.
Apart from some sumptuous
barbecues, plenty of other events have also been organized for your
entertainment. These include Tour de Pig- the annual cycling event, golf
tournament, a tennis tournament, 5K Hawg run, and the Hawg Shoot Air Rifle
Tournament and much more.
